Inner Beauty
We see them all over place. It’s hard to escape their photos plastered on every magazine, billboard and television. Those super models and glamorous beauties that we all wish we could be. It’s hard not to want to look like them, be like them and we often think of the advantages they have because of their good looks.
But there is one who looks past these outward qualities and looks directly into the heart. He sees the true beauty within each of us and loves us unconditionally. He is only interested in the makeovers that we apply to our spirit. He longs for us to have a relationship with Him. He knows what true beauty is and looks past all the material things we sometimes adorn ourselves with. Jesus looks for the loveliness in the heart.
Have you ever met someone that you were not particularly attracted to, but once you got to know them you found a certain charm that captivated you? There is a unique beauty that can bypass physical beauty. Why not concentrate on making over your heart with God’s splendor. Pray for the Holy Spirit to work in you and allow the fruits of the spirit to shine through.

1 Peter 3:3-4 Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and putting on of gold and jewelry, or the clothing you wear—but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious.
